Unfortunately, the long-awaited, 1-week long February break is over. Tomorrow, I have to head back to school. My next break from school isn’t until the end of April. This means nearly a full 2 months of school without a long break. Not going to lie, I’m quite disappointed.
The reason that I hate long periods of time in school is that the teachers just pile on the work. Day after day, the routine pisses me off. I end up having no time for myself… no time to relax… no time to think. This school week will already be hectic- I have an Art History test tomorrow, a Statistics test on Wednesday, and a Calculus test on Thursday or Friday. My head is throbbing at the thought of all of this.
As much as I want to see people again and move around, there’s still a part of me that wants to get up late in the morning (8:00 a.m. is late?!) and be lazy all day. -sigh-
I’ve had senioritis since the beginning of my senior year. And it has been getting progressively worse. My patience and caring level is nearing 0%. I don’t even feel like bothering with AP exams anymore… much less a research paper that is due in about a month.
For now, I’ll dream about April because April will be an exciting month. There’s just so much that is going to happen in that month. I’ll being hearing back from certain places and most of all, my birthday is in April. I”m going to be 18! Hopefully, April will be a month of POSITIVE news, not NEGATIVE news. The anticipation is killing me slowly. -_-
