I like them older… and I ain’t ashamed of it!

While most of my friends like young idols like the guys from EXO, U-KISS, Big Bang, Infinite, SHINee, etc. (don’t get me wrong, I have my biases too), I find myself more attracted to the Korean industry’s … AHJUSSIS.  These guys were handsome in their heyday and still look great for their age, but are considered old for someone like me, who is inching towards the big 2-0.  Like I said, most people my age are into the young studs, so when I reveal my inner fangirl crushes on the ahjussis, I get shunned!  😦

Oh well, getting shunned doesn’t make me less attracted to them ahjussis- certain ahjussis, not just any old fart.

So which ahjussis do I have a crush on?  I shall introduce you- but be warned, they are MINE.  내꺼야!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here… and seriously posting…

I’ve had some really interesting experiences since I kind of drifted from this blog and I regret not writing about some of them here!  😦

So here’s what’s going on- (Yes, I’m finally going to get you all back in the loop.)

  • I made some “here-and-there” posts about Korea~ I say this because I actually have a lot of adventures that I still haven’t posted about and it’s been a year already… so I kinda lost my train of thought… (oops).  And at this point, it’s kind of pointless to make all those posts trailing my adventures because it’s over and done with and my posts will be emotionless (guaranteed- since I’m just not in the zone anymore).  So here’s what’s going to happen~ I’ll just be making posts once in a blue moon about specific memories I have.  Sound good?
  • Uh- there will be some interesting (or at least i think so) boy stories to tell… so look forward to that!
  • I got a smartphone!  mwaahaa so I’ll be doing some app reviews.
  • Kpop has advanced… so I will make an updated version of Top 20 Most Wanted Boyfriends and Top 10/20 Kpop music videos.
  • WordPress changed… I’ll be giving you some of my thoughts on this.
  • Aaaannnnddddd maybe some gossip I’ll share.

heh. okey dokey. so tonight will begin my blogging marathon again!! wahaha.

Loneliness is not just for people who are not physically in the company of people.

It is also for people who hurt- a type of pain that tugs at your heart.

So let me redefine loneliness.

A feeling of heaviness, of the weight of the world on your heart.

Pressure so high that your heart bursts,

Leaving you empty, of air, of feeling.

What is left is a shell, a shell of your body.

And so you are free from the heaviness, the weight of the world.

But at the same time, you are also set free from life.

Empty, without feeling- this is loneliness.

It all starts with the tug, the tug at your heart.

Two days ago, I had a dream.

In my dream, you came for me.

You approached me with a smile

And asked, “Do you remember who I am?”

I said  ”Mm” because I didn’t know what to say.

Inside, I was so happy that you found me.

You hugged me from behind.

I started to cry because you were with me.

My heart, my soul, was anticipating our future.

Two days ago, I had a dream.

In my dream, you came for me.

We often want second chances. Sometimes we don’t deserve them. The feeling of regret and wishing for another chance is common when a couple separates. Whoever is at fault usually searches for sympathy as they have realized in hindsight their mistakes. – Wongfu

One of the best Wongfu videos to date is The Places We Should Have Gone.  I came across the video last night when I was watching another Wongfu video.  Usually, Wongfu videos are pretty silly, but this one really caught my attention.  If you read the blurb underneath the video, this short film was made by Philip Wong when he went to Taiwan.  Not only did this short film contain amazing scenes of Taiwan, but it also had a mellow storyline that kind of makes you feel sad.  For me, this film made me think about the theme: second chances.

If I were in Becky’s position, would I give Daniel a second chance?  The answer is no.  I can understand how it would be difficult to turn away someone that I still have feelings for, but that person made a decision, realized that it was a mistake, and wants another chance.  The truth is, some people just don’t deserve second chances.  Time cannot erase heartache… and seeing that person again would deepen the wound in my heart.

As mature adults, we should be able to make wise decisions.  Life does not have a “redo” button and we have to accept that as a fact.  Especially when it comes to love, the heart is a very sensitive organ.  The heart cannot be toyed around with and careless decisions can damage hearts.

Really… we should consider the people around us, the people we are in relationships with… how important are these people in our lives?  Can we say that we truly love them?  What would we do without them?  If these people are important, then we can never let them go… we have to hold on tight because we never know… once we let go, we may never get a second chance.
